Awake from slumber, sleeping one.
I want to share a word with you.
No ordinary word is this,
for this the Word of ever-bliss.
The time it takes to bring you there
Is nothing but a tiny tick
No more than taking down a tent
Or any structure, brick by brick.
The Word of God is what you are.
A Word that sparkles brilliantly
You issued from the Mind of God
And still remain as one with He
The Door that leads you to the Word
The Christ of God, the Shepard good
Resides within your mind, obscure
But even now speaks still and sure
The ego's death throes painful moarn
A dirge to hopelessness, forlorn.
The Soul's call of awakening
Sounds to the ego a death knell
Seeming to chime in strident tones
A siren's song, that draws to kill
The ego's fear of death must be
Seen through with eyes that finally see;
Replaced by unconditioned Love,
And the Knowledge that makes us free
I want to share a word with you.
No ordinary word is this,
for this the Word of ever-bliss.
The time it takes to bring you there
Is nothing but a tiny tick
No more than taking down a tent
Or any structure, brick by brick.
